This is the story of a hard-working ant called Angie, who lives in a big ants’ nest.
Every day, Angie gets up very early, goes out and looks for fresh leaves to take home.
She saves some of those leaves for wintertime, a very difficult time to get food.
One day, when Angie comes back to the ants’ nest, she discovers that someone has taken some of her leaves.
She calls Bobby, the beetle detective, to help her find the leaves.
Bobby has got a magnifying glass. Together they discover that Katy the caterpillar is stealing the leaves. They catch Katy and tell her to go away.
When wintertime comes, Katy is cold and hungry and wants to come in.
Katy promises to work hard when wintertime ends.
Angie and Bobby forgive Katy and let her come inside the ants’ nest.

My name is Angie
I am a little ant.
I like working hard
I love to sing and dance.

Every morning I get up
Looking for leaves! Working hard!
They are not always nearby!
Sometimes they are very far!

My name is Angie
I am a little ant.
I like working hard
I love to sing and dance.

Away from my lovely house
A lot of leaves I try to find.
All of them I carry back home
and store them for wintertime.

My name is Angie
I love to sing my song!
My name is Angie!
Come on and sing along!

I am Katy, the caterpillar
I don’t like going out to work.
If I take some leaves for me, no one will know!
I will take some and quickly go!
Mmm Mmm!
I love eating all kinds of leaves.
Big or small! It’s the same for me!
Yes, perhaps I’m a little lazy!
Or maybe I’m a little crazy!
I am Katy, the caterpillar
I don’t like going out to work.
If I take some leaves for me, no one will know!
I will take some and quickly go!
Oh, Yeah!
What a lot of luck I have!
All this free food for my tummy!
Nobody at home, that’s what I like,
All these leaves are very yummy!
I am Katy, the caterpillar
I don’t like going out to work. No, No!
If I take some leaves for me, no one will know!
I will take some and quickly go!
Bye, Bye!

Bobby: Oh, yes! I know what we can do to cheer Angie up! We´re going to give her a very special surprise! Ha ha! Oh Yeah!
Let’s prepare! Let’s prepare!
A special lunch all together,
We’ll give Angie a big surprise!
And she’s going to feel much better!
Let’s prepare! Let’s prepare!
A special lunch all together,
We’ll give Angie a big surprise!
And she’s going to feel much better!
Bobby: Mmm... Yes... Let’s see. What do we need?
Bobby: First, the tablecloth!
Bobby: Here we are... easy does it... beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Bobby: Now, the plates!
Bobby: Look at that! Lovely... one for Angie, one for me.
Bobby: And now, the glasses!
Putting on the tablecloth
Is the first thing we have to do,
And when that’s ready we just wait,
Plates and glasses are on their way.
Let’s prepare! Let’s prepare!
A special lunch all together,
We’ll give Angie a big surprise!
And she’s going to feel much better!
Bobby: Oh! I’m so excited! Oh, yes! So excited! Let’s see...
Bobby: Now the forks!
Bobby: One for Angie and one for me.
Bobby: Now the knives! Very careful here...
Bobby: Here we are.
Bobby: And... and, the spoons!
Bobby: Look at that! Lovely little spoon. I’m going to put one over here . . . and the other one over there.
Bobby: The napkins!
Bobby: Yes, here we are! One for Angie, one for me.
Bobby: And finally a bottle of water! Ohh... yes!
Now come the knives and the forks,
Then the napkins and the spoons,
Don't forget the bottle of water,
Looks like our meal will be ready soon!
Let’s prepare! Let’s prepare!
A special lunch all together,
We’ll give Angie a big surprise!
And she’s going to feel much better!
Let’s prepare! Let’s prepare!
A special lunch all together,
We’ll give Angie a big surprise!
And she’s going to feel much better!
Oh yes!! She´ll feel right as rain after this meal.

Bobby and Angie: Now is the moment to discover the thief.

Angie: Are you a good detective?

Bobby: Of course I am!

Angie: Great! So... Who’s taking my leaves?

Bobby: I’m trying to solve this case.

Angie: Is this thief a man or a woman?

Bobby: Maybe a man or maybe a woman.

Angie: Is this thief fat or thin?

Bobby: Maybe fat or maybe thin.

Bobby: Now is the time for the beetle detective.

Angie: Now is the moment to discover the thief.

Bobby: Now is the time for the beetle detective.

Bobby and Angie: Now is the moment to discover the thief.

Angie: But who is the thief?

Bobby: I’m trying to discover the thief!

Angie: Please try to be faster!

Bobby: I need time to do my job.

Bobby: Now is the time for the beetle detective

Angie: Now is the moment to discover the thief.

Bobby: Now is the time for the beetle detective.

Bobby and Angie: Now is the moment to discover the thief.

Bobby and Angie: Now is the time for the beetle detective.

Angie: Who is the thief?

Bobby: Wait! I am working on it!

Angie: Come on!

Bobby: I know who the thief is!

Angie: Who is it?

Bobby: A caterpillar!

Angie: Somebody’s taking my leaves,
And I don’t know why.
Somebody’s taking my leaves,
This thief we cannot find!

Both: Somebody’s taking my leaves,
And I don’t know why.
Somebody’s taking my leaves,
This thief we cannot find!

Angie: We have to find a way to stop this!
Bobby: We need to make a plan.
Angie: We have to find out what’s happening!
Bobby: We have to work together to solve the problem.
Angie: All together we will find
The truth about the leaves I had
Where have all my leaves gone?
This is making me very mad!
Both: Somebody’s taking my leaves,
And I don’t know why.
Somebody’s taking my leaves,
This thief we cannot find!
Angie: I’m very angry. I’ve worked all day long and now, look what’s happened!
Bobby: Come on! Don’t be sad!
Angie: I want my leaves back!
Bobby: We’ll find them!
Bobby: All day long she works so hard,
To get all the leaves she can.
And now a bad thief took her leaves,
We must come up with a plan!
Both: Somebody’s taking my leaves,
And I don’t know why.
Somebody’s taking my leaves,
This thief we cannot find!

Angie: We need to think of something!
Bobby: I am trying, Angie.
Angie: We need to think of something!
Bobby: I’m trying, Angie!

Both: But if we can think together,
This will stop for now and ever.
We will catch this creepy-crawly,
And put an end to this story.

Both: Somebody’s taking my leaves,
And I don’t know why.
Somebody’s taking my leaves,
This thief we cannot find!

Both: Somebody’s taking my leaves,
And I don’t know why.
Somebody’s taking my leaves,
This thief we cannot find!

Both: Four eyes are better than two,
Let us tell you what we’ll do:
We are going to catch the thief!
She won’t take a single leaf!

Both: Four eyes are better than two,
Let us tell you what we’ll do:
We are going to catch the thief!
She won’t take a single leaf!

Bobby: If I’m looking to the right,
This thief won’t escape my sight!

Angie: If I’m looking to the left,
No one will enter this ants’ nest.
Both: Four eyes are better than two,
Let us tell you what we’ll do:
We are going to catch the thief!
She won’t take a single leaf!

Bobby: When I look up to the sky,
I’ll make sure no thieves go by!

Angie: If I’m looking down below
All who cross my path will know!
That...
Both: Four eyes are better than two,
Let us tell you what we’ll do:
We are going to catch the thief!
She won’t take a single leaf!
Both: Four eyes are better than two,
Let us tell you what we’ll do:
We are going to catch the thief!
She won’t take a single leaf!

Today! Today! Today! It starts!

Angie: It’s true, children: Today, wintertime starts.

Bobby: And it’s cold! Very cold!

Angie: And there are no more leaves outside.

Bobby: But since Angie worked very hard, she´s got a lot of leaves in her house!

Angie: In wintertime nobody can find leaves!

Bobby: In wintertime nobody can go out!

Angie: I stay at home with friends and family!

Both: That’s what wintertime’s about!

Today wintertime starts! It’s cold!

Today wintertime starts! It’s cold!

Today wintertime starts!

Today wintertime starts!

Katy: Hello! May I come in?

Angie: What are you doing here?

Bobby: What are you looking for?

Katy: It’s really cold outside!
Angie: Go home!
Bobby: Go home!

Katy: I’m a little bit hungry!
Angie: Go home and work for your food!

Bobby: Yes! Go home and work for your food!

Katy: But I have no food in my house! I can’t get any leaves!

Angie: I told you!

Bobby: Yes! She told you!

Katy: I have no food in my house

Angie, Bobby: That’s why we told you to be prepared!

Katy: I can’t find any leaves in wintertime

Angie, Bobby: We told you but you said: I don’t care.
Katy: Can I have some of your leaves? I’m hungry.
Angie: No!
Bobby: Mmm.. No!

Katy: But I’m cold and I’m hungry! I’m sorry!
Angie: Are you sorry?
Bobby: Are you sorry?
Katy: Yes! Yes! I’m very sorry.

Sam: So, Merlin’s your dad, huh?
Melissa: Yes.
Sam: That’s cool. What’s it like to have a wizard as a dad?
Melissa: I don’t know, I’ve never had any other kind of dad.
Sam: Oh, right. Ha, that’s a good one.
Melissa: You have no idea of what you’ve got yourself into, do you?
Sam: What do you mean?
Melissa: Learning the powers of Merlin is not just fun and games.
Sam: I know, your father has been telling me all about it. He even did the freeze thing on me. That was pretty neat.
Melissa: Do you know anything about magic?
Sam: I know the finger trick.
Melissa: The finger trick?
Sam: Yes.

Melissa: You are pathetic.
Sam: I think someone’s a little jealous! Don’t worry I can teach it to you some other time. Do you know any tricks?
Melissa: How about this one?

Sam: So what’s the trick? Am I speaking in that voice?
Melissa: Wizards don’t do tricks. They use magic. Never underestimate the power of a wizard.

01
Sam: Why did he make a deal with the Wicked Witch?
Melissa: When I was a baby, I had a terrible illness. This illness could be cured with an antidote
that only the Wicked Witch could produce.
Sam: What about the pharmacy, not even the pharmacy had the antidote?
Melissa: No, not even the pharmacy. Only the Wicked Witch.
Sam: Oh, what was the deal then?
Melissa: Before my 18th birthday I would have to be married to the chosen one, otherwise
I would be obliged to marry Mr. Horror.

02
Sam: Listen to me. I think you are a very pretty woman.
Witch: A very pretty woman?
Sam: Yes, and I think I’m falling in love with you.
Witch: You’re in love with me?
Sam: I know that I’ve just met you and maybe you think it’s a little fast, but, I think I am in love with you.
Witch: Well, thank you. It’s the first time anyone has ever said that to me.
Sam: Really? Being as pretty as you are, I can’t believe it.
Witch: Thank you, young man.
Sam: May I kiss you?
Witch: Kiss me?
Sam: Yes, may I?
Witch: Well, if you want... sure no problem.

03
Merlin: Take this.
Sam: What is it?
Merlin: This is my first wizard suit.
Sam: Oh, no I couldn’t.
Merlin: I insist.
Merlin: No, no. It’s not for you to wear.
Sam: Oh.
Merlin: I need you to take it to the dry cleaners’ for me. It’s right next to the pizza place.
Sam: Oh.
Merlin: That was a joke, Sam.
Sam: Oh, I get it, ha-ha.
Merlin: Now you truly look like a wizard.

04
Witch: According to our deal, each of us sets a condition for the final challenge.
Merlin: I know the deal.
Witch: Here is my condition. Melissa shall be tied, hands behind her back and shall remain in sight.
This is to prevent her from escaping when I defeat the boy.
Merlin: All right. Now I shall place my condition. I will be allowed to stay and guide Sam with the use of the Prophecy Book.
Witch: All right.

The Wicked Witch is about to arrive,
Your powers she will test.
You must make your magic come alive,
To succeed and show you’re the best.

The Wicked Witch is about to arrive,
Your powers she will test.
You must make your magic come alive,
To succeed and show you’re the best.

I don’t really know if I have what it takes,
This Wicked Witch sounds pretty mean.
I wish I was dreaming, so that I could wake,
This is the most scared I’ve ever been.

You will do great Sam, so don’t be scared,
With your abilities you have surprised me.
The witch’s test you will be able to bear,
You will do great, just wait and see.
The Wicked Witch is about to arrive,
Your powers she will test.
You must make your magic come alive,
To succeed and show you’re the best.
The Wicked Witch is about to arrive,
Your powers she will test.
You must make your magic come alive,
To succeed and show you’re the best.
With the Wicked Witch, be very cautious.
She will do her best to deceive you.
With the Wicked Witch, be very cautious.
She will do her best to deceive you.
I will do my best, and be very cautious,
I’ll try to use my skills, even though they’re new.
Try your best not to fail in your task.
Remember I’ll marry Mr Horror if you fail
Time to get ready, enough chit chat,
Concentrate boy, it’s time to prepare.
Think about magic, and only that.
Of the witch’s magic you need to beware.

The Wicked Witch is about to arrive,
Your powers she will test.
You must make your magic come alive,
To succeed and show you’re the best.

Just believe in yourself,
You will succeed.
Just do your best,
That’s all I need.
Both
I love you, I love you

I love you, I love you

Sam
Maybe you’re right,
Maybe you’re wrong.
All that I know is,
That our love is strong.
Melissa
To defeat the witch,
You must use all your powers.
You’d better focus now,
It’s been almost an hour.
Sam
With your love I’m sure,
A great wizard, I’ll be.
We’ll be happy forever,
You just wait and see.
Both
I love you, I love you

I love you, I love you

Hamlet is trying to write a new play when Ophelia enters.
HAMLET: Every day that goes by, it becomes harder and harder to continue with this.
For every page that I write, I end up going back two.
I will never finish this new play in time!
OPHELIA: Hello, Hamlet.
HAMLET: ...my mother insists that I write a comedy, but in this state, it will be impossible.
How can I find humour when nothing in this world is humorous?
OPHELIA: Hamlet.
HAMLET: Ophelia, how long have you been here?
OPHELIA: Only a moment. I saw you so caught up in your thoughts that I
didn’t want to interrupt.
HAMLET: It’s true. I have been quite caught up in my thoughts. So caught up, in fact, that I begin to doubt what is real or not.
OPHELIA: What’s the matter?
HAMLET: What’s the matter? Well, the matter is that I’m supposed to write a comedy, but considering the circumstances, I am finding that very difficult.
OPHELIA: Hamlet, it has been two months since your father’s death. It’s time for you to let go.
HAMLET: Easier said than done, Ophelia.

Claudius and Gertrude meet Hamlet.
GERTRUDE: Hello, son. How are you? You seem very much concentrated.
HAMLET: Yes. Writing.
GERTRUDE: Have you seen Ophelia?
HAMLET: Yes, she is preparing for tomorrow’s rehearsal with the cast.
CLAUDIUS: Such a hard worker. This company was founded on hard work and great skill. With artists such as you and her, we will continue to be one of the most respected companies in the country.
GERTRUDE: Hamlet, are you alright?
HAMLET: Yes.
CLAUDIUS: I know that it has been two months since my brother’s death but we are all still very sorrowful. Your mother has now taken my hand in marriage, and we thank you for accepting such a hurried event.
HAMLET: Yes, you're right. It was hurried.
GERTRUDE: Hamlet, please try to cheer up. Open your eyes and look beyond your father's death. You know all that lives must die.
HAMLET: Yes, you're right.
GERTRUDE: If you know this, then why do you still seem so . . . disturbed?
HAMLET: I do not seem disturbed, I am disturbed.
CLAUDIUS: It’s alright for you to miss your father. Everybody loses a father, but to mourn the way you do is unmanly and ungodly.
You're disrespecting heaven in showing this much grief. Everyone dies eventually. Please, shake off your sorrows, Hamlet, our most beloved and favourite son.
GERTRUDE: He’s right. Listen to Claudius, son.
HAMLET: Alright, I'll try.

Hamlet meets his father’s ghost.
HAMLET: Lord helps us! Are you good or evil; from Heaven or Hell?
GHOST: Don’t you recognize your father?
HAMLET: Are you really my father? What could this mean? What should I do?
GHOST: Mark me.
HAMLET: I will.
GHOST: You must be ready to avenge, when you hear me.
HAMLET: I don’t understand.
GHOST: I am your father's spirit, doomed for a certain time to walk the night, and for the day confined at a post in Hell. I am a ghost until my business is made right. I cannot tell you why I am a ghost, but I can tell you a story. If you love me, you will take revenge.
HAMLET: O God!
GHOST: Revenge my foul and unnatural murder.
HAMLET: Murder! Tell me quickly so that I can avenge my father's death.
GHOST: I find you ready. Don't forget what I'm about to tell you because the serpent that took my life now sleeps in my bed.
HAMLET: Oh! My prophetic soul! My uncle!
GHOST: Sleeping in my garden, like I always did in the afternoon, my brother took poison, and poured it down my ear. The effect was almost instant; my skin became dry and my blood turned sour.
HAMLET: Oh horrible, most horrible!
GHOST: Then he seduced my wife, Hamlet, with witchery and gifts. If you feel like killing her at any time, contain yourself. Let God sort her out. But whatever you do, don't let them sleep together. I insist that you avenge my death. It is nearly dawn. I must leave.

HAMLET: Alright.

Claudius and Gertrude meet Ophelia.

CLAUDIUS: Oh hello, Ophelia! What's the matter?
OPHELIA: I have been frightened!

CLAUDIUS: How have you been frightened?
OPHELIA: I came in and Hamlet was here. He was as pale as his shirt, his knees were knocking each other, and he looked so distressed that he couldn’t talk to me.

OPHELIA: I think he has gone mad because of his love for me.
GERTRUDE: Mad for your love?
OPHELIA: I do not know, but I fear it.
CLAUDIUS: What did he say?
OPHELIA: He grabbed me by the wrist and started touching my face as if he was observing it for a painting.

OPHELIA: Then he bobbed his head up and down like a mad man would do.
OPHELIA: He told me he loved me and then he let me go and walked out the door!
GERTRUDE: His love for you drives him into madness. Love can make you do the strangest things. Have you given him harsh words lately?
OPHELIA: No, but I denied his access to me.
GERTRUDE: That's why he is upset.

Hamlet speaks to himself.

HAMLET: To be, or not to be, that is the question:
whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer in life or to end it all. To die, to sleep - no more; and in death there is no more.

Everyone may wish for good but it is not always the case.

Pause

HAMLET: To die, to sleep; to sleep and dream. For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, when we have left this body, must give us peace. There is the respect that one gets for living through life.

Pause

HAMLET: For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, the oppressor’s wrong, the proud man’s rudeness, the pain of despised love when he himself might his death make with a bare dagger?

Pause

HAMLET: Who would bear this suffering in a weary life? Everyone is scared of what undiscovered terrain comes after death because no traveller has returned. This lowers one’s confidence. Everyone is a coward because everyone fears death. We tend to think things are more frightening than they really are. Many talk themselves out of doing what they had originally planned.

Hamlet has received a hit from his uncle’s poisoned sword.

CLAUDIUS: Hamlet, you are slain; no medicine in the world can do you good; in you there is not half an hour of life; the treacherous instrument is in my hand, unabated and poisoned:

the foul practice has turned itself on me. Here I lie, never to rise again; your mother's poisoned. I can no more:

I am to blame. For these deaths and for your father’s, forgive me.

HAMLET: The sword is poisoned? Then poison, do your work.
HAMLET: Here, you murderous damned soul, drink of this potion. Follow my mother.

HAMLET: I follow you.

HAMLET: I am dead, Ophelia. My queen, goodbye! You that look pale and tremble at this chance, if life had given me the chance, I would have proved to be a good man and yet a better husband. Yours is a fortunate man, Ophelia. Let the truth be known of the story of my father’s life and death. Goodbye, my love.

OPHELIA: Here lies a noble heart. Good night sweet prince and flights of angels
sing you to your rest!
